Dr. Melissa Stormer is a Supervisory Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) and a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist. She has been an OSI agent for 21 years and has experience working and advising on investigations relating to violent crimes, sex crimes, crimes against children, and national security matters. As a clinical/forensic psychologist, her education and experience have focused on serious mental illness, personality disorders, sexual deviancy, and predatory behavior. Dr. Stormer also conducts court-ordered evaluations regarding violence risk, sexual risk, competency to stand trial, and mental status at the time of the offense for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She was assigned to the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit in February 2022.
